Fiona was interviewed by Associated Press journalist April Castro. Portions of that interview appear in the article, Spooky politics: Texas capital home to ghosts.

In this Halloween-themed interview, Fiona was asked about her book, The Ghosts of Austin, Texas.

Fiona talked about the patterns of hauntings in Austin, including the Shoal Creek Curse and its eerie connection to the UT Tower shootings.

She also commented about Austin’s colorful history, and how the levels of power at the state capitol are one reason why the city is so haunted.
