Fiona’s KII (K2) experiments

Apr 10th, 2009 | By Fiona | Category: Sample articles

Many people have asked me about the KII (K2) meter.   It’s a variation on a standard EMF meter, with reactions that some people interpret as communications from spirits.

Until I tried the meter, I was unwilling to comment on it.

THE SPALDING INN, WHITEFIELD, NH

Early in April 2009, I saw the KII in use during a visit to the haunted Spalding Inn, Whitefield, NH.  (That’s the hotel owned by TAPS’ Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson.)

There, the KII appeared to be a good EMF meter, but I liked my regular EMF meter as well.   I didn’t personally try the KII during our investigations of the hotel, and while the irregular flares of the meter seemed a little odd, I couldn’t conclude much.

TENNEY GATE HOUSE, METHUEN, MA

At the Tenney Gate House in Methuen, Massachusetts, I tried the KII meter myself.  As an EMF meter, it’s okay.  Where it seems to shine — no pun intended — is in apparent communication with spirits.

I was one of the guest speakers/investigators at the Essex County Ghost Project’s Tenney Gate House event.

After watching other investigators achieve the same kinds of results I’d seen at the Spalding Inn, I asked if I could test one of the KII meters for a few minutes, myself.

At that point, I didn’t see why the KII meter was earning such rave reviews from researchers I generally respect.

EXPERIMENTS WITH LIGHTS

Before my experiments, the lights in the second-floor room were on.  I picked up the KII meter and asked several questions.  I received no response.  I changed hands with the meter, moved it around the room, and so on.  The meter still did not react.

This was expected, since the room had been swept for EMF before our investigation, and there were no “hot spots” in the room.

Then, I asked the spirits if they’d like the lights off.  With no other change, the KII meter flared orange and red, multiple times.  The reaction stopped when we turned the lights off in that room.

We turned the lights back on, and the lights on the meter remained green.

After a few minutes, I asked the spirits if they’d like the lights off.  As before, the meter flashed yellow, orange and red lights, several times.

We turned the lights off, and the meter’s light returned to green.

We repeated this experiment five times, and the results were identical each time.  There were no exceptions.

That impressed me.

PARALLEL WORLDS?

In that darkened room, I asked the spirits if they were alive but in a parallel world.  The meter lights flared again.

I asked several other questions, and the meter light remained green.

Each of three times I talked about parallel worlds, universes, and so on, the KII lights flashed.

I’m not sure what this means.  It’s an intriguing result.

MY CURRENT CONCLUSIONS

I’ll continue experimenting with the KII meter when I have access to one.  At this point, I’m not sure enough of its value to purchase one, but it looks interesting enough to continue studying.
