Is My House Haunted? – answers and help
Jan 12th, 2010 | By Fiona | Category: Fiona's diary
As of this morning, Is My House Haunted? is being printed. I’m very excited about this, because — thanks to helpful questions and ideas from friends and fans — it’s a genuinely useful book for anyone who might be living in a haunted house.
This book can be ordered right now through the printer, CreateSpace.com
It will soon appear in the catalogue of my publishing house, New Forest Books.
And, in about two weeks (end of January 2010), this book will be available at Amazon.com.
This is a good book with solid information for people living in — or investigating — houses that might be haunted. It talks them, step by step, through the process of ruling out what’s normal (including odd things people might not think about) before deciding the cause is something paranormal.
I’ve included notes that explain what people can do on their own, and what might require a professional’s advice.
The book is divided into three sections.
- The first is how to decide if the problem is normal or paranormal.
- The second is what to do if your house is probably haunted.
- The third explains how to find professionals who can help, and how to screen them so you can feel confident about their services and advice.
I’ve also added an Appendix to the book. It provides more details about specific and unusual phenomena, such as haunted objects, poltergeists, “ghost photos,” and provoking ghosts.
Now, I’m in the process of filling in a website to provide advice and others’ stories, for people who are living in houses that truly seem to be haunted.
