Yes, Hex marks the spot

Hex is one of my favorite shops in Salem.
If you’re visiting Salem, Massachusetts, be sure to stroll along Essex Street.
Almost directly across the street from the “Bewitched” statue of Samantha, you’ll find one of Salem’s most unique shops.
Hex brings New Orleans’ French Quarter to New England.
It’s not just a little like the French Quarter. Store owner Christian Day has truly captured the rich style and mystical energy of New Orleans as well.
From the colors to the fragrances to the decor to the merchandise, you’ll feel transported to a timeless corner of the French Quarter.
It’s a one-of-a-kind shop… and that’s saying a lot in Salem.
Hex also features psychic readings by one of the world’s most famous Witches, Lori Bruno. There is no one I can recommend more than Lori, if you’re looking for a genuine reading.
(If you just want, “You’ll meet a tall, dark stranger,” you can find those kinds of readings at any carnival or boardwalk.)
I’ve known Lori for years. Not only is she a good friend, I also respect her as one of the top authorities in Sicilian traditions, and a revered Strega Nona.
At the 2008 Official Salem Witches’ Halloween Ball, Lori is being crowned Queen of the Witches. She’s earned that accolade, many times over.
When I need a reliable psychic reading, I’ll visit Lori at Hex.
Whether you’re looking for some powerful incense or a unique fragrance to attract romance (money, or luck), you’ll find it at Hex. Their products are custom-blended and carry the distinctive Hex label.
Hex also features pendulums, authentic Voodoo and Hoodoo items, genuine supplies for Witchcraft, and a broad range of Pagan books.
And, for the record, Christian didn’t ask me to write about his store. I’m doing this because I genuinely love visiting Hex.
Since moving back to New England after years near New Orleans, it’s great to find an authentic piece of the French Quarter in Salem, Massachusetts.
Hex is located at 246 Essex Street
Salem, Massachusetts 01970.
